To be gracious, meek, and humble.
To speak well, to wish others well.
To have a pure heart, to always be ready to learn, to always tell the truth.
To restrain your anger.
To be patient and kind with your lot, to be friendly, modest, respectful of the old.
To honor your parents and your teachers —
To be the friend of good people and the enemy of evil people.
To speak untruths, to steal, to deceive, to wish ill on your neighbor,
To be proud, to slander,
To be miserly, disrespectful, shameless, hot tempered,
To take something that does not belong to you,
To be vengeful, obstinate, envious,
To harm your neighbor —
All this is to be the friend of evil people and the enemy of good people.
